The new HTC Desire has now been made available as a SIM Free phone, this latest Android 2.1 handset is the most advanced device to be released by HTC to date and features a brilliant AMOLED display. This main touch screen display measures a large 3.7 inches making it the third largest on any phone with the HTC HD2 ruling the roost at 4.3 inches and the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 a close second at 4 inches, however the AMOLED technology in the HTC Desire provides a cirsp, clear and super bright display even in extreme light conditions.

The only phone to trump this technology is the new Samsung Wave which goes one step further with a Super AMOLED touch screen that claims to be even brighter.
